I had noticed that my eyesight was getting worse when driving and, after being fobbed off by another high street optician, I was recommended to go and see Viren. He identified that a section of my eyesight was missing but that it was nothing wrong with my sight but rather that it was something in the visual pathway to the brain. He immediately referred me to my Doctor for an urgent MRI scan. This showed a slow growing Brain Tumour which, thankfully, was benign and has now been removed. A year on and my eyesight is now stable.
If it hadn't been for Viren's sympathetic and caring yet insistent approach, I dread to think what might have happened - I would almost certainly have lost more of my sight than I have.
